The story follows the mission of the Icarus II to reignite Earth's dying sun, but the mission is jeopardized when they alter course in an attempt to salvage the derelict craft of their predecessor, Icarus I. Exceptionally well-written, the film does an excellent job at developing the characters in subtle ways, and at grounding itself in the real world.
